LEARN MORE
Hello there!
I know what you’re thinking, what is multi-passionate? You might be more familiar with the term ‘generalist’. The two are interchangeable and it just means that I have a wide range of interests and passions that span multiple fields, industries, and skill sets. I’m not your typical hire with 10 years experience in one role. I tend to see connection points and patterns in unrelated areas which allows me to solve problems in unconventional ways.
Tell you more? No problem.
I’m curious by nature and enjoy finding the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’. Understanding why a team member thinks a certain way or why a process exists, helps me see the bigger picture and allows me to create cohesiveness within the organization. In my experience, a team that understands the ‘why’ is much more likely to meet and even exceed company objectives. And for those who don’t need as much context to be successful, this approach may help silence some of the excess noise around them. And we love a focused and efficient team.
Here’s what I’ll say...
I’m the person they bring in when the “obvious” answer hasn’t worked, and they need someone who can learn quickly to solve creatively.
If you need someone to analyze data... I got you.
If you need someone to move company initiatives forward... I got you.
If you need someone to be a champion for the client or to apply AI automation... I got you.
If you need someone to streamline processes and efficiency... I got you.
If you need someone with knowledge across roles... I got you.
Let me be your go-to guy...you won’t be disappointed.
OPS SUPPORT
Think of me as your leadership team’s new best friend. Here are a few ways I’ve made organizations shine:
In 2015, during my time at an online education organization of over 500 employees, I played a key role in sales and operations support. I taught myself SQL and built performance metrics dashboards that provided valuable insights for leadership. When we had to switch our CRM system due to security concerns, I was part of a two-person team responsible for training and supporting staff on the new system, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Sales performance improved dramatically and we saw a 10% increase in sales year over year.
“Jason is skilled at communicating across different departments and groups. He can easily translate one department's needs into another's ensuring the right message gets across. Cool under pressure, Jason is an asset to any organization of which he is a part.”
- Marla Trevor, Policy & Project Manager University of the Rockies
In 2016, during a merger in the new home construction sector, I rolled up my sleeves and created custom reports that combined data from both organizations, giving the VP of Construction crucial insights. This effort helped the division exceed its production goals by 20%!
Post-merger, I was the go-to person for training and supporting leadership and field staff on a new project management software. I also crafted templates with cycle times that were realistic and achievable for field staff while still meeting leadership's ambitious production goals, ensuring everyone was on the same page and projects stayed on track. Plus, I spearheaded the practice of interviewing, hiring, and managing remote assistants for administrative tasks.
“Couldn’t recommend Jason enough! A terrific attitude with a rock solid work ethic! Always thinking how to help others around him succeed while looking outside the box for solutions.”
- Justin Johannes, VP of Construction at Taylor Morrison
In 2018, I jumped into the world of e-commerce consulting with minimal initial knowledge. I became a jack-of-all-trades, teaching myself accounting, tax requirements, cost analysis, marketing, advertising, customer service, shipping practices, inventory management, and live selling techniques. It was a whirlwind of learning! Additionally, I mastered the art of interviewing, hiring, and managing sourcing agents for overseas products, making quality cost effective products available. Sales doubled year over year!
All in all, I have a passion to see others succeed and I’m honored to have been a contributing factor to the accomplishments of my leadership teams.
A little bit about me...
I currently live just outside of Denver, CO. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 10 years. We have three wonderful kids and a mini-bernedoodle (Frankie). My twin boys are sweet, sarcastic, smart, and silly. Their younger sister is all of the above and then some. She runs the house and she knows it. These four are my motivation.
I enjoy all things sports (GO BUFFS), cooking, and watching episodes of The Office on repeat.
Thanks for sticking around!
I want to leave you with a little something I share with my children everyday...
Be kind to yourself, be kind to others, and protect your joy. This is the basis for building meaningful connection and happiness.
